DESCRIPTION:

East Bay Basketball Officials Association has continuously and rigorously trained our  people to be the best high school basketball officials.   EBBOA is an elite Association for high school basketball in California.  The hard work of our officials has rewarded many of us with the honor of working games in California’s state championship tournament.

Since the introduction of three-person crews in high school basketball, EBBOA has found creative and deliberate methods to prepare our officials.  We improve our abilities to officiate using three-person mechanics.  However, most of our leagues do not elect to use three-person officiating, generally as a budget issue.

The executive board of EBBOA is proposing an idea which can help basketball officials get three-person training, and help our schools in the process.  EBBOA services many high school JV and Frosh tournaments that are willing to have three-person crews.  However, these schools can only offer fees to pay for two officials. With that said, EBBOA will honor the pay the schools are willing to give us.  Our desire is to train our officials the best way possible so that our officials can ultimately achieve their goal of improving in three-person officiating.

2 PERSON VARSITY GAMES =  $68.00 per official

3 PERSON VARSITY GAMES  will have an ADJUSTED RATE OF $45.00 per official

2 PERSON JV GAMES = $55.00 per official

3 PERSON JV GAMES will have an ADJUSTED RATE OF $36.00 per official

All commited officials will be guaranteed AT LEAST TWO (2) 3-PERSON games when assigned.
